About the Event
What does the word “sensuality” make you envision? How does it make you feel?
We are often taught to fear sensuality. This is based in fear and misunderstanding because sensuality defined directs us to the gratification of our senses. A connection to our body and senses is what makes us present within ourselves and in our surroundings...what makes us human.
Liquid Motion is a movement style and methodology that teaches technique and body awareness, which is taught primarily on the floor. In this 2 hour session, you will explore exercises and prompts that will introduce you to, or re-connect you to, the basic principles of Liquid Motion. Take time to explore your sensuality and learn to be proud of it.

Our Liquid Motion sessions are taught by Willow Black, who has been teaching Liquid Motion in Dayton since 2016. She has nearly 2 decades of dance instructing experience, with over half of that being in the sensual movement realm. She has experienced and witnessed the transformative effects of sensual movement within herself and others through the years. Moving sensually and boldly is a rebellion in the face of a world that praises silence and agreeability.
She currently is offering classes at Rebel Goddess Temple and The Dayton Dance Centre.
