About the Event

This is a church of sorts, minus the dogma of religion, with the pursuit of individual spirituality turned way up. Seated as equals in a circle, we ground in mind and body through reading & discourse on a spiritual topic, gentle breathwork and sharing. This is a co-creative offering with space to reflect on the human condition and your greater power. This is an inclusive community experience, all interfaith and secular folks are welcome. We will use language like Goddess, Spirit, Source, etc.

Our circle also includes kirtan, which is a joyous vocal prayer as an offering to the Divine. We play improvisational harmonium (a small hand pumped organ), mridanga (an Indian clay drum), and kartals (hand cymbals). You may come just to receive, although we encourage you to play and sing along... use some of our instruments (drums, rattles, shakers, chimes, ukulele) or bring your own!

After kirtan, we offer you prasad, which is a meal that has been offered to the Divine. Prasad means "grace" ...it is an offering or gift, and in this case, it is also community. Food is always vegetarian, and usually kitchari. If you have food sensitives please let us know you are coming!

This is a sliding scale donation-based offering, or included with membership. Led by Sam Spychalla & Taylor Roustio

Recommended donation is $5/$10/$15. See sliding scale info graphic for more info on suggested donations and other exchange options.
