About the Event

At a time in the year when our culture can influence us to think of love in superficial ways, we offer you an alternative. Discover the joy of sacred sound by building a drum in partnership… with a lover, or a friend, or a family member. The creation of your drum is a ceremony in itself, an active prayer of the body and mind. Spend your Saturday in creative union tapping into the experience of bringing forth your own intuitive instrument.

-This retreat includes circle work, ceremony building, meditation, breathwork, pathwork, drum playing, and more.

-Learn, share, and co-create sacred instruments together.

-Build the drum from start to finish with your partner (you’ll punch holes in the hide, decorate the frame, and lace the drum) all while sharing in the wisdom of community, together

-10 hour retreat (includes 1 hr lunch break)

-Vegetarian breakfast and lunch will be served

-You can choose to make a single large 16-sided drum, or two medium 8-sided drums

-Drums will be made with deer and cedar medicine

——————————————

Investment: $444 for one single larger (17”) 16-sided drum

OR $555 for two medium (13”) 8-sided drums
